A retrospective cohort study of polatuzumab vedotin combined with immunochemotherapy in Chinese patients with relapse/refractory diffuse large B cell lymphoma
Source : https://atm.amegroups.com/article/view/102782/html
Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) is the most common hemolymphatic malignancy in adults. Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), the most common subtype of NHL, accounts for approximately 30-40% of all NHL cases...
Conclusions: These preliminary data suggested that the pola-BR regimen has promising efficacy and tolerable safety in Chinese transplantation ineligible R/R DLBCL patients. Hence, pola-BR may be an optional regimen. Considering the limited sample size and short follow-up, larger sample and long-term survival outcome studies are warranted.
Peripheral blood marker of residual acute leukemia after hematopoietic cell transplantation using multi-plex digital droplet PCR

BackgroundRelapse remains the primary cause of death after hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) for acute leukemia. The ability to identify minimal/measurable residual disease (MRD) via the blood could identify patients earlier...
Conclusions: We have devised and tested a minimal/measurable residual disease test to survey acute leukemia using multiplex ddPCR, which could be valuable as a biomarker of AML assessment of response, prognosis, and disease stratification. If these results are validated in larger cohorts, it could add to the emerging methods for AML MRD...

Conclusions: Hsp27 combined with CD73, CD58, CD24, and backbone markers allows monitoring MRD in virtually all patients with BCP-ALL.
The ALLgorithMM: How to define the hemodilution of bone marrow samples in lymphoproliferative diseases
Source : https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fonc.2022.1001048/full
IntroductionMinimal residual disease (MRD) is commonly assessed in bone marrow (BM) aspirate. However, sample quality can impair the MRD measurement, leading to underestimated residual cells and to false negative results.
Conclusions: The high frequency of MRD-negative results in both HD and mHD samples implies the presence of possible false negative MRD measurements, impairing the correct assessment of patients' response to therapy and highlighs the importance to evaluate BM hemodilution.
MRD in ALL: Optimization and Innovations - Current Hematologic Malignancy Reports

Purpose of Review Measurable residual disease (MRD) is an important monitoring parameter that can help predict survival outcomes in acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Identifying patients with MRD has the potential...
Relevance: In this review, we discuss MRD in ALL, focusing on advantages and limitations between MRD testing techniques and how to monitor MRD in specific patient populations.
