There may be significant histopathologic overlap between EBV‐positive DLBCL, NOS, and other diagnoses including angioimmunoblastic T‐cell lymphoma (AITL). Resolution of this differential diagnosis may be particularly challenging and require extensive investigation of clinicopathologic features.     I teach all of our fellows that any T cell lymphoma case should be seen by 2 different hematopathologists, with 1 being at an academic center where these cases are referred in larger numbers. Accurate diagnosis is essential to optimal treatment plan and prognostic information.
